Glam Nails Challenge January - pingwiny (penguins)

witajcie w 1 dzień kwietnia! i chciałam od razu uprzedzić, że dzisiejsze zdobienie to nie żart na prima aprilis :P po prostu jestem tak opóźniona w pokazywaniu tu zdobień, które robiłam do paznokciowego projektu Glam Nail Challenge, że mam Wam do pokazania jeszcze kilka lekko zimowych rzeczy. ale w sumie to właściwie tylko zwierzęta, więc umówmy się, że można je publikować o każdej porze roku :D także dziś pokażę Wam pingwiny (idealnie wpasowujące się w kwietniową aurę), które powstały jeszcze w styczniu.

pingwiny malowałam ręcznie lakierami do paznokci i pędzelkiem "warrior" z so nailicious boutique, a na pozostałych paznokciach zrobiłam stemple białym lakierem do stempli z born pretty store (o nazwie "pure") - który możecie kupić tutaj (klik klik). wzór jest z płytki moyou london - enchanted 05.
no i nie mogę nic nie wspomnieć o tym przepięknych lakierach masury (szary - illusion of the moon i fiolet - lavender lemonade), których użyłam jako tła w tym zdobieniu :) oba lakiery są cudne, zresztą jak większość lakierów masury, która jest moją ulubioną marką lakierową. no i wiecie, może kiedyś uda mi się także po prostu zeswatchować te lakiery ;)

hello on April 1st! and at the beginning I'd like to say, this post is not a prima aprilis joke :P I just have such delay in posting my Glam Nails Challenge's nails here, that I still have few winter nail arts to show you. but actually there are almost only animals, so well, let's say animals can be posted at any season of the year :D so today I'm gonna show you my penguins (perfect for April weather), which I created in January.

penguins are handpainted with nail polishes and "warrior" brush from so nailicious boutique. on other nails I stamped patterns from moyou london plate called enchanted 05 with white stamping nail polish "pure" from born pretty store (you can buy it here - click click). 
and I just can't be quiet about these beautiful polishes that I used as a background. these are two masura shades: grey - illusion of the moon and purple lavender lemonade :) they are both beautiful - like most masura polishes, which is definitely my favorite nail polish brand right now. so you know, maybe I will swatch these polishes some day ;)

colour alike, simply the best - 654 don't be jealous

i na sam koniec zostawiłam mojego zdecydowanego ulubieńca kolekcji simply the best od colour alike. ten, kto mnie zna, pewnie domyśli się, że chodzi o zgniłka 654 don't be jealous :D no bo w końcu w pierwszy dzień wiosny musi być jakiś wiosenny akcent! zgniła bo zgniła, ale jednak zieleń ;)
właściwie nie do końca wiem czemu tak jest, ale odkąd pamiętam kocham wszelkie takie zgniłe odcienie, które zazwyczaj są uznawane za brzydkie. mnie podobają się chyba wszystkie! don't be jealous nie stanowi wyjątku :) to dość ciemna zgniło-zielona baza z pięknie połyskującymi dużymi holo drobinkami. no nie wiem co Wy o tym sądzicie, ale dla mnie takie zgniłki - jeszcze z drobinkami! - są po prostu piękne!
przy ogólnym pięknie każdego brzydala, malowanie nie gra roli :D choć jak w przypadku wszystkich lakierów colour alike, przebiegało wręcz idealnie. 2 warstwy do pełnego krycia, szybkie wysychanie i połysk.

dodam jeszcze, że don't be jelous jest bardzo podobny do lakieru picture polish - mossy. nie mam dużo lakierów picture polish, ale akurat ten jakiś czas temu postanowiłam kupić :D bo najzwyczajniej musiałam go mieć. colour alike później wypuściło tę kolekcję i pewnie gdyby czasowo odbyło się to inaczej, nie kupiłabym mossy. na końcu posta znajdziecie porównanie podobnych zieleni.

and the best for last: my favourite from CA simply the best collection. those who know me, would probably know that it's murky green shade - 654 don't be jealous :D because there have to be spring accent at the first days of spring! maybe it's murky, but it's still green ;)
I actually don't know why, but I love all those love-hate ugly shades since I remember. and I mean it, I really love them all. so don't be jealous is no exception :) this polish has quite dark murky green base with lots of large holographic particles, which shimmering beautifully. I don't know what do you think, but for me all those murky shades - especially with particles! - are just beautiful!
and due to beauty of every ugly shade like this, applying this polish isn't so important :D but in this case, applying was standard for colour alike polishes - very nice. Two coats for full opacity, fast drying and glossy finish.

don't be jealous is very alike to picture polish - mossy. I don't have many picture polish polishes, but I decided to buy this one, because I just had to have it. then colour alike created don't be jealous and I think that I wouldn't buy mossy if I had don't be jealous already. you will find comparison of similar holographic green shades at the end of this post.

CA don't be jealous i PP mossy są bardzo podobne, ale jednak mają nieco inne odcienie. krycie jest podobne, ale don't be jealous ma nieco mniejsze drobinki i bardziej żółty (cieplejszy) odcień. ale różnica w kolorze jest naprawdę minimalna. podobny kolorystycznie jest też lakier masura - curly kale, ale on jest jaśniejszy, bledszy i ma nieco inne drobinki (jakby duże wymieszane z mniejszymi). porównałam je jeszcze z lakierem nymph od el corazon, ale to już zupełnie inna bajka, bo nymph ma
zdecydowanie żywszy odcień zieleni, ma żelkową bazę i największe drobinki ze wszystkich lakierów. w każdym razie każdy z nich jest piękny! :D

CA don't be jealous and PP mossy are really alike, but they have slightly different shades. coverage is similar, but don't be jealous has a bit smaller particles and more yellow undertones (has warmer shade), but this is a really small difference. masura - curly kale has also similar shade, but it's lighter, more pale and has different particles (it's a combo of holo and large holo particles). I compared these polishes also with another green shade - nymph from el corazon brand. but nymph is 
much different, has more vivid shade of green, jelly base and the bigest holo particles of all these polishes. but I think they are all beautiful!

masura - 904-185 mint and basil

dziś kolejny świetny lakier magnetyczny od masury - mint and basil. w przeciwieństwie do lakieru the universe, który pokazywałam Wam ostatnio (klik), w tej emalii nie ma żadnych drobinek. to "zwykły" lakier magnetyczny (o ile można tu mówić o jego zwykłości...), o przepięknym zielono-morskim kolorze z wyraźnymi niebieskimi tonami. standardowo, po przyłożeniu magnesu tworzą się jaśniejsze magnetyczne linie (oczywiście jedna na każdym paznokciu), które z czasem "rozlewają się" po paznokciach. mimo, że mint and basil nie ma w sobie żadnych drobinek, ten lakier jest po prostu piękny.

ja generalnie uwielbiam zielone lakiery, ale jeśli dołożymy do tego magnetyczną magię wzorów poruszających się na paznokciach, to przepadam :P zresztą sami zobaczcie
dodam jeszcze, że z każdym kolejnym lakierem od masury, jestem w nich coraz bardziej zakochana :D

today I'm gonna show you another great magnetic polish from masura - mint and basil. in this polish - unlike the universe, which I showed you lately (click) - there's no particles. it's just "ordinary" magnetic polish (if you can even say that it's ordinary...) with gorgeous green-teal shade and visible blue hints. after using magnet, lighter green stripes appears on nails (one on each nail of course), and then little by little they started to some kind of dissolve and spread on nails. despite mint and basil doesn't have any particles, this polish is nothing but stunning.

i generally love green polishes, but when you add to this magnetic magic and patterns which are literally moving on your nails, I'm totally in love :P just look at it
and I just want to tell you one more thing. with every masura polish I'm more and more in love with them :D

masura - 904-195 the universe

co jakiś czas w świecie paznokci pojawia się jakaś nowinka. lakiery magnetyczne są już znane od bardzo dawna, jednak jakiś czas temu temat powrócił za sprawą hybryd. znowu zrobił się szał na lakiery magnetyczne, nazywane tym razem kocim okiem (zawsze bawi mnie to, jak znane od dawna efekty pojawiają się w hybrydach i są nazywane w zupełnie nowy, inny sposób i znów odkrywa się Amerykę...). efekt w przypadku lakierów hybrydowych faktycznie robi wrażenie i jest lepszy niż w starych lakierach magnetycznych, które kojarzymy sprzed kilku lat, jednak wszystko poszło do przodu i efekt w obecnych lakierach magnetycznych jest bardzo podobny do kociego oka. i cieszę się, że coraz to nowe firmy wprowadzają do swoich ofert lakiery magnetyczne, a jedne z najlepszych jakie widziałam robi masura, jedna z rosyjskich firm.

dziś pokażę Wam jeden z lakierów magnetycznych właśnie tej firmy o nazwie the universe. lakier ten wchodzi w skład kolekcji magnetycznej z dużymi holo drobinkami i należy do większej serii o nazwie precious stones. To piękny granat, który w miejscach przyłożenia magnesu tworzy jaśniejsze, niebieskie paski. pasek w momencie przykładania magnesu jest bardzo wąski i wyraźny, jednak w miarę jak lakier wysycha, pasek nam się "rozlewa" po paznokciu. na początku nie byłam z tego zbyt zadowolona, ale w sumie daje to fajny, nieprzewidywalny efekt i nigdy nie jesteśmy pewne, czy paznokcie będą wyglądały tak samo.

używając tych lakierów można nałożyć jedną warstwę na czarną bazę lub po prostu dwie warstwy lakieru. ja jakoś tego nie ogarnęłam i wydawało mi się, że na czarną bazę trzeba nałożyć dwie warstwy lakieru (co nieco mnie zdziwiło, bo lakier bardzo dobrze krył sam :D). także na jedną warstwę czerni nałożyłam dwie warstwy lakieru, każdą po kolei traktując magnesem. na koniec na wszystko nałożyłam top, do którego także należy przyłożyć magnes, żeby utrwalić efekt. i tak oto uzyskujemy magię na paznokciach. magnetyczny wzór jakby "chodzi" po płytce, przemieszczając się w zależności od kąta pod jakim patrzymy. ja nie mogłam oderwać od tego wzroku ;)

jeśli nie znacie masury, warto przejrzeć ich lakiery, bo poza genialnymi lakierami magnetycznymi mają w swojej ofercie także inne cudeńka, w tym różne lakiery holo. co pewnie wiele z Was ucieszy - robią też lakiery hybrydowe, m.in. wspomniane wcześniej kocie oko ;) można je kupić m.in. na stronie nailland.hu - ja prawie zawsze je stamtąd zamawiam

once upon a time something brand new appears in nails world. magnetic nail polishes are known for very long time, but they and their fame came back a while ago because of gel polishes. there was a lot of fuss about magnetic polishes, now called "cat's eye effect" (it's always a bit funny for me that some actually old and well known nail polish effects appeared in gel polishes like ages after and they have brand new name and are sold as something brand new... and it's just reinventing the wheel again...). I have to admit that magnetic effect in gel polishes is really impressive and is much better than this we know from old magnetic polishes from ages ago. but magnetic polishes which are produced now have really similar effect to cat's eye. and I'm really glad that more and more brands have magnetic polishes in their offer. and masura - russian brand - make the best magnetic polishes I have ever seen.

today I'm gonna show you one of masura's magnetic polishes - the universe. it's from collection, where all polishes have large holo particles in them and it's a part of the "precious stones" series. the universe is a beautiful navy blue polish. when you magnetise it, magnet creates lighter blue stripes on it. right after magnetising stripe is sharp and thin, but while polish is drying, this stripe spreads on nail. at first I didn't like that this happens, but in the end I liked it, because it's actually great, unpredictible effect and you never know what you'll have on your nails and if they look the same way.

you can use this polish (like all masura magnetic polishes) in two ways: one coat over black base or two coats without black base. I didn't got it and I thougt that masura advices to apply two coats of magnetic nail polish over black (which surprised me a bit, becasue this polish has really good opacity :D) but well... I applied one coat of black and then two coats of magnetic nail polish and I magnetise each of them. in the end I applied top coat and it is required to put magnet to it also to solidify the effect. and that's how we got magic on our nails. magnetised pattern looks like it's moving and "walking" on nails, depending on at what angle we look at it. I just couldn't stop staring at my nails.

if you don't know masura, it's really worth to look their polishes through, becasue besides genius magnetic polishes, they also have many great varnishes, e.g holographic ones. many of you may be delighted by fact that masura has also gel polishes, and yeah, cat's eye effect too ;) you can purchase them e.g at nailland.hu - I almost always buy them there
