orly breathable, from dusk to dawn - bronze ambition

dziś chcę Wam pokazać ostatni już lakier orly breathable z kolekcji from dusk to dawn. tym razem jest to (moim zdaniem) najmniej wiosenno-letni kolor, jaki tylko można sobie wyobrazić, czyli miedziany metalik o nazwie bronze ambition. no dobrze, może nazwę ma lekko wakacyjną, bo nieco kojarzy się z opalenizną, ale poza tym? no nie wiem, ja naprawdę rzadko dzielę lakiery kolorystycznie według pór roku, ale ten lakier jest dla mnie raczej typowo jesiennym odcieniem. choć w zeszłym roku w standardowej kolekcji letniej orly (neon earth) też znajdował się podobny kolor (o nazwie valley of fire). zresztą na końcu będzie porównanie tych dwóch lakierów ;)
wracając jednak do miedziaka bronze ambition, to mimo wszystko muszę powiedzieć, że to bardzo fajny lakier. i jego kolor też mi się podoba, tylko po prostu moim zdaniem nie jest wiosenno-letni ;) wygodnie się maluje, kryje przy dwóch warstwach, szybko wysycha. pociągnięcia pędzelka są minimalnie widoczne, ale nie jest to typowy frost. no i lakier jest z kolekcji breathable, która odżywia nasze paznokcie, a dodatkowo nie potrzebujemy bazy ani topu, bo to taki kompleksowy produkt :)
bardzo lubię serię breathable i cieszę się, że w jej skład wchodzi coraz więcej lakierów o coraz ciekawszych i mniej oczywistych kolorach i wykończeniach :)

today I'd like to show you last orly polish from breathable collection called from dusk to dawn. this time it's the least spring/summer shade you could ever imagine (of course in my opinion) - copper metallic called bronze ambition. well, maybe its name reminds of holidays and tanned skin a bit, but besides that? I don't know, I really do not divide colors for seasons very often, but this polish even for me has a typical fall shade. though in last year's collection orly also had similar polish during summer (valley of fire from neon earth collection). at the end you will find comparison of these two ;)
anyway, back to bronze ambition polish, I have to tell you that this polish is really good after all. and its color is also nice and I like it, I just think it's not a spring or summer shade imo ;) it applies nicely, is fully opaque in two easy coats and dries fast. brush strokes are visible, but not very much, because it's not a typical frost polish. and it's worth to mention that this polish is from breathable series, so it nourish our nails and we don't need base or top coat, because this polish is a complex product that do everything for us :) I really like breathable series and I'm glad there are more and more new polishes in it and that the shades and finishes are not so obvious and classic :)

dziś chciałabym Wam pokazać jeden z trzech lakierów z najnowszej kolekcji breathable od orly o nazwie from dusk to dawn. cała kolekcja jest dość stonowana i raczej określiłabym te kolory jako jesienno-zimowe, choć kolekcja pojawiła się na wiosnę. nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że są bardzo fajne i na pewno sprawdzą się do wielu letnich stylizacji. tym bardziej, że letnie kolory wcale nie muszą być zwariowane i krzykliwe - to że ja takie najbardziej lubię to inna sprawa ;)
pierwszym lakierem, który chcę Wam pokazać jest ten o nazwie sunkissed. to kremowy jasny brąz lub ciemny beż z dużą ilością brązowych tonów. który dodatkowo ma w sobie też coś z rudości. i chyba najbardziej kojarzy mi się z... wielbłądem :D i z takimi kowbojskimi lub boho klimatami. także tak jak mówię, jest neutralny i będzie pasował do wielu rzeczy :)
kryje bardzo ładnie, choć ja standardowo nakładam na paznokcie dwie warstwy. szybko wysycha, ładnie błyszczy i odżywia nasze paznokcie, jak wszystkie lakiery z serii breathable. a do tego nie potrzebujemy bazy ani topu, przez co czas przygotowywania manicuru zdecydowanie się skraca :)

today I'd like to show you one of three polishes from newest orly breathable collection - dusk to dawn. whole collection is quite toned and I'd say they look like polishes perfect for fall, not for summer or spring, when it was launched. none the less these polishes will suit for many summer outfits for sure. and summer colors don't have to be vivid and neon. I like just such polishes and for me they are perfect for summer, but you know ;)
first polish from this bunch I have and I'd like to show you is light brown called sunkissed. it's a creme light brown or dark beige polish with a lot of brown undertones. it has also some red (like fox red) undertones too. and it reminds me of... camel the most :D and with some Texas vibes (cowboys) and boho climate. so you can see, it's quite neutral and will be great for many various things :)
it has nice covrage, though I always apply two coats of polish, so you can see two coats on my pics. sunkissed also dries fast, has beautiful glossy finish and it nourish our nails, like all breathable polishes from orly. and we don't need base and top coat, so time of preparing our manicure is definitely much shorter than usually :)

orly - cosmic crimson (deep wonder - winter 2018 collection)

następnym lakierem od orly z kolekcji deep wonder, który chcę Wam pokazać jest cosmic crimson. to metaliczny czerwony lakier, który ma w sobie dużo miedzi i brązu, ale jednocześnie i trochę różowych tonów. no i przede wszystkim jest to jedyny - moim zdaniem - metalik w tej kolekcji. kiedyś takie lakiery były modne i pamiętam, że bardzo podobny zabierałam mamie jak byłam mała ;) i hm... w pewnym sensie to właśnie od tamtego lakieru zaczęła się moja lakierowa przygoda. więc do tego koloru mam chyba po prostu sentyment ;)

jeśli chodzi o kwestie techniczne, to lakier nakłada się wygodnie i ma bardzo dobre krycie. naprawdę już jedna warstwa wygląda świetnie (choć ja i tak zawsze nakładam dwie ;) ), tylko nieco widoczne są pociągnięcia pędzelka (ale nie jakoś bardzo). jednak wystarczy malować zdecydowanymi prostymi ruchami i nie nabierać zbyt dużo lakieru na pędzelek i wszystko będzie dobrze ;) 

mam zresztą też trochę wrażenie, że metaliczne lakiery z frostowym wykończeniem są obecne na rynku już od jakiegoś czasu i część osób przekonała się trochę do widocznych pociągnięć pędzelka na paznokciach (ja na pewno do nich należę :) ), więc cieszę się, że i w tej kolekcji orly znalazł się jakiś metalik :)

next polish from orly deep wonder collection I'd like to show you is cosmic crimson. it's metallic kind of red shade with a lot of brown and copper undertones (and some of pink too). and imo it's the only one metallic polish in this collection. polishes like this used to be very popular and I remember my mum has really similar polish and I used to paint my nails with it when I was little ;) and well, I think that was the moment when my polish adventure has begun, so I i feel some kind of sentiment for this polish ;)

application is nice and this polish has great coverage. you really need just one coat to have your nails fully covered with polish (but I always apply two coats). there is only this one thing: there are visible brush strokes (frost finish) - but not so much. and you just need to apply this polish with straight firm moves and not pick too many polish on brush and everything will be ok ;)

also I think that metallic polishes with frost finish are on market from some time, so some people liked or at least accepted visible brush strokes (I do!), so I'm really glad there is a metallic polish in this collection :)

Glam Nails Challenge December - renifer(ka) i choinki (lady reindeer and "christmas" trees)

dziś pokażę Wam ostatnie grudniowe zdobienie - tak na ostatni dzień stycznia :) to chyba moje ulubione zdobienie z tego miesiąca i muszę Wam powiedzieć, że bardzo przyjemnie mi się je nosiło (na tyle fajnie, że w sylwestra też miałam to na paznokciach).

reniferkę namalowałam lakierami i cienkim pędzelkiem, podobnie jak niektóre choinki. jednak większość drzewek (te trójkątne) zrobiłam malując większy prostokąt lakierem na macie i potem wycinałam z wyschniętego lakieru trójkąty i przyczepiałam je na mokry biały lakier na paznokciach.

drzewka i renifera połączyłam właściwie dlatego, że bardzo chciałam zrobić choinki od kiedy zobaczyłam na Instagramie zdobienie nailsterii (klik klik). choinka była jednym z tematów grudniowego glam nails challenge, ale oczywiście nie wyrobiłam się z terminem, więc postanowiłam je połączyć z reniferem :)

today I'll show you my last december nail art - on the last day of january :) I think it's my favourite nail art from december and I have to tell you I really enjoyed wearing these nails (actually it was so nice, I had them also on new year's eve).

the lady reindeer was handpainted with thin brush and nail polishes, just like some of trees. but most of my "christmas" trees was made by applying nail polishes on silicone matte and after polish dried, I cut triangles from these pieces of polish nd I applied them on wtill wet white polish on my nails.

these trees and reindeer was combined actually because I wanted to do such trees so bad, after I saw this design on nailsteria's IG (click click). christmas tree was one of december's themes at glam nails challenge, but I didn't manage to do this on time, so I decided to add the trees to my little reindeer :)

orly - fall into me (the new neutral - fall 2018 collection)

drugim lakierem z kolekcji the new neutral od orly jest metalik fall into me. to mój główny faworyt tej kolekcji, ale zaraz za nim plasuje się zielony olive you kelly z poprzedniego posta (klik klik). i znów fall into me to lakier, który nie każdemu może przypaść do gustu i to nawet nie ze względu na kolor, ale raczej na wykończenie. to beżowo-brązowo-szary lakier o metalicznym wykończeniu. metaliki mają to do siebie, że często widoczne są na nich pociągnięcia pędzelka (co oznacza wykończenie frostowe), za czym wiele osób nie przepada. ja sama często niezbyt lubię ten efekt, ale tu zupełnie mi nie przeszkadza, a wręcz mam wrażenie, że dodaje temu lakierowi uroku. tym bardziej, że nie jest to taki chamski efekt jak w typowo babciowych "perłowych" lakierach. ten lakier jest naprawdę świetny. kolor niby stonowany, ale dzięki metalicznemu błyskowi jest też trochę zwariowany.
kwestie techniczne: malowanie przyjemne, jednak jeśli chcecie zminimalizować widoczność pociągnięć pędzelka, warto nabierać mniej lakieru na pędzelek i nakładać go zdecydowanymi prostymi ruchami (im mniej tym lepiej). lakier kryje po dwóch warstwach, a jeśli frostowe wykończenie nie jest dla Was, drugą warstwę można nałożyć gąbeczką do makijażu (jak przy gradientach).

second polish from orly's new neutral collection that I wanna show you is metallic shade called fall into me. this one is my favourite from this collection, but green olive you kelly from previous post (click click) is just after this one. and this time we  also have a polish that won't be loved by everyone. in case of fall into me it's mostly due to its finish, not color. it's beige-brown-grey polish with metallic finish. metallics are often known from visible brush strokes (frost finish), which is not very popular and liked even among nail polish addicts. I often don't like this effect myself, but in case of this polish is different - it doesn't bother me  at all and I think it even adds charm to this polish. well, it's worth to say it's not so offensive effect from granny "pearl" polishes. this orly polish is something really opposite, it's just great. it's toned due to color and a bit crazy due to this shine - all at the same time.
some technical stuff: apllying was nice, but if you want to minimize visible of brush strokes, you should apply little amount of polish onto brush and apply it on nail with firm, steady and straight moves (the less the better). it needs two coats to be fully opaque and if you can't stand frost finish, you can apply the second coat with make up sponge (just like with gradients)

maga - 12Z pasażer

dziś pokażę Wam jeden z lakierów firmy Maga - pasażer. to dość dziwny i nieczęsto spotykany odcień lakieru: brązowo-niebieski/morski duochrom i to w wydaniu drobinkowym - glassfleckowym? sama mam trochę mieszane uczucia co do tego lakieru, ale takie dziwaki zawsze mnie jakoś przyciągają, ja nie wiem. dlatego postanowiłam dać pasażerowi szansę i wypróbować go na własnych paznokciach ;) kolor lakieru jest jasno-brązowy z bardzo wyraźną niebiesko-morską poświatą. nie wiem, jaki był zamysł co do nazwy lakieru, ale dla mnie pasażer kojarzy się tu jednoznacznie z filmem obcy ósmy pasażer nostromo. to naprawdę dziwny lakier i jak dla mnie pasuje do tego filmu jak ulał ;)

konsystencja lakieru jest raczej z tych gęstych, przez co lakier nakłada się nieco grubszymi warstwami - do krycia są potrzebne dwie, ale można go też nałożyć na czerń. ja malowałam nim bez bazy. wysychanie w przyzwoitym tempie. i coś o czym muszę wspomnieć - lakier ma bardzo wygodny, spłaszczony i lekko zaokrąglony na końcu pędzelek - idealny do malowania przy skórkach :)

today I'm gonna show you one of Maga polishes - pasażer (passenger). this is really weird and unusual shade: brown-blue/teal duochrome with particles - glassfleck finish? even I have mixed feelings about this one. but every single weird shade atracts me like magnet, I don't know why. so I decided to give a try also this polish ;) passenger has light brown shade with visible blue/teal glow. I don't know what was the story of this polish's name, but the only thing that comes to my mind is alien: eight passenger of nostromo. this is a really weird polish with accurate name ;)

consistency of polish is more on a thick side, and due to that it applies with thicker coats. you need two coats for full coverge, but it can be also applied on black base. I used it on its own. drying time was also nice. and one more thing I have to say is brilliant brush of this polish. it's slightly flattened, rounded at the end and it's really nice to work with - perfect for applying polish in the cuticle area :)
