Blogger Collaboration - the ocean (nail art)

it's time for next blog post for blogger collaboration. this time it's today I'm gonna show you some sea nail art, which supossed to look like... lightnings :D I was inspired by nail_muse - I saw her nail arts on IG and they look exacty like lightnings! and my design... well, despite following tutorial, I ended up with something quite different on my nails - something which looked like coral reef or some other sea creatures ;) I tried many times and various colors combinations, but I just couldn't get this lightning effect. anyway, I liked the effect I achieved and this method of nail art.
and on some nails I added shell stamps from B loves plates stamping plate - B.11 summer paradise

how to do such nail art? long story short: paint base rectangle on stamping mate, while everything is still wet, leave the drop of contrasting nail polish in the middle of rectangle (it will create big dot), then you can add another drop of other polish in the middle of your first dot (it can be also color of your base rectangle). then you press your stamper against it and pick it up and it's done. you just need to wait until your nail decals will be dry and you can transfer them onto nails.

przyszła pora na kolejnego posta w ramach blogerskiego projektu, więc dziś pokażę Wam morskie zdobienie, które miało wyglądać jak... błyskawice :D do stworzenia go zainspirowały mnie zdobienia nail_muse, które widziałam na instagramie. jej zdobienia przypominały właśnie błyskawice i bardzo chciałam je odtworzyć, jednak mimo robienia wszystkiego zgodnie z tutorialem, hm, efekt końcowy zdecydowanie bardziej wyglądał u mnie jak rafa lub inne morskie stworzenia ;) za nic nie mogłam zrobić w ten sposób błyskawic, ale ogólnie bardzo dobrze nosiło mi się te paznokcie i bardzo spodobał mi się ten sposób zdobienia.
dodatkowo na niektórych paznokciach dodałam stemple muszelek z płytki B loves plates - B.11 summer paradise

a jak zrobić takie zdobienie? w dużym uproszczeniu: namalować bazowy prostokąt lakierem na macie do stemplowania, na środku tego zrobić kropkę innym kontrastującym lakierem i można w jej środku zrobić jeszcze jedną kropkę innym kolorem (może być taki jak kolor bazowy). następnie przyciskamy do tego stempel, podnosimy go i gotowe. czekamy aż naklejki wyschną i przenosimy je na paznokcie.

Blogger Collaboration - floral nail art

hello! today I'd like to show you some nail art created for our blogger collaboration :) in may we decided to do some floral designs. I've always wanted to do stamped flowers painted white - with reverse stamping method, so I give this design a try :)

my base color was orly from breathable series (from their last mini collection), creme dark grey with green/teal undertones called dive deep. than I stamped with black stamping polish from B. loves plates - B. a black hole and coloured flowers with white bourjois la laque nail polish - 1 white spirit, using thin nail art brush from So Nailicious (01 warrior). floral stamps are from two Moyra plates: 61 l'amour & 41 florality 3

hej! dziś chciałabym Wam pokazać kolejne zdobienie, które powstało w ramach naszego blogerskiego projektu :) w maju postanowiłyśmy zrobić zdobienia kwiatowe. ja zawsze chciałam zrobić stemplowe kwiaty i metodą reverse stamping pokolorować je na biało, dlatego stwierdziłam, że kwiatowy temat to idealna okazja :)

lakierem bazowym był lakier orly z serii breathable (z nowej mini kolekcji) o nazwie dive deep. na nim stemplowałam lakierem z B. loves plates - B. a black hole, a kwiaty kolorowałam później białym lakierem bourjois la laque - 1 white spirit za pomocą cienkiego pędzelka do zdobień od So Nailicious (01 warrior). kwiatowe stemple są z dwóch płytek Moyry: 61 l'amour i 41 florality 3

no i ostrzegam, jest to zdecydowanie post tasiemiec! ale warto dotrwać do końca, bo pod koniec posta znajduje się lista dziewczyn które biorą udział w naszym małym projekcie :)

and what do you think? I'm sure I'll do such floral design once again some day, but this time maybe with a bit brighter and cheerful colors ;)
i co o tym myślicie? ja wiem, że na pewno zrobię jeszcze kiedyś podobne zdobienie, tylko następnym razem może z jakimś weselszym tłem ;)

Blogger Collaboration - the weather

hello, today I'd like to show you next post (the second one) for our blogger collaboration with few great girls from all around the world (full list of our blogs will be at the end of this post).  today's post should have been posted here on April 6th, but as I'm always late, this post is also delayed...  sorry! 

after first introducing post with answers for nail-related questions (which you will find here - click click), this time we decided to do some nail art with one theme. this theme was spring weather. I decided to do white clouds on blue sky :) I really like clouds (I even studied meteorology!), and spring is a great time to see such delicate white clouds on the sky. these are cumulus alike ;) and I handpainted them with white acrylic paint over cien base polish from lidl store.

hej, dziś przychodzę do Was z kolejnym, już drugim postem w ramach blogerskiej współpracy z kilkoma świetnymi dziewczynami z całego świata (całą listę blogów dziewczyn, które biorą udział w akcji, znajdziecie na końcu tego posta) :) dzisiejszy post planowo powinien się pojawić 6 kwietnia, ale że ja nigdy nie potrafię niczego zrobić na czas, to wrzucam go dopiero dzisiaj. 

po pierwszym wprowadzającym poście z odpowiedziami na pytania dotyczące paznokci, lakierów i zdobień (który znajdziecie tutaj - klik klik), tym razem postanowiłyśmy zrobić zdobienie. temat przewodni to wiosenna pogoda. ja postawiłam na błękitne niebo i białe chmury :) bardzo lubię chmury (w końcu studiowałam meteorologię!), a wiosną dość często można zobaczyć na niebie takie delikatne obłoczki. te z moich paznokci najbardziej przypominają cumulusy ;) a namalowałam je białą farbką akrylową na bazie lakieru cien z lidla (o nazwie 03 romantyczny obłok).

Nail Q&A – Blogger Collaboration

some nails polish bloggers (with me amongs them) decided to do a Blogger Collaboration and here is our first post! we decided to start with some nail polish / nail art related questions to get to know each other better :) we're going to post once a month or so. and I have to tell you I'm very happy I'm participating! it's my first blogger collab and it seems like a lot of fun! so, here we go :)

What was your first nail polish?

I don't remember my very first nail polish, but I think it was some golden rose (I remember I have few red ones!) or inglot (it's our Polish brand) nail polish, because my first nail polishes was from these brands. actually I still have these few inglot polishes (blue, orange and steel shimmer/metallic ones) which have about... well 15 years or so? :D and the best thing is that they are still usable and their quality is the same as it was these 15 years ago.

Do you remember when your nail art journey begun?

I think it was about 10 years ago, when I was in high school. I did some nail arts then, but it was things like dots. I started to do more complicated things and more regurarly 7 years ago (back in 2013, when I started participated in some Polish nail art challenges) - you can see some of my nail arts from this time here (click click) and one of them is this one

What is your favourite nail art technique?

I think handpainting is my favourite, but I also like all kinds of fluid nail art techniques (including  using syringe :) )

What is your favourite nail shape?

square! I mean all that is similar to square - I think I have squoval (something combining sqare and oval). I have such shape for ages and I wouldn't change it for anything else!

Would you ever wear artificial nails?

no, I don't think I would. I don't like to have very long nails and artificial ones usually are long, do nope, It's not for me. I wore them once though! when I did my zombie nails for halloween some year ;)  - here's link to post with these nails and you can also see them below

What is your favourite mainstream brand?

I think orly is one of my top favourite brands and kiko as well (but their shops dissapeared from Poland some time ago - I don't know why - and I'm very sad about it). I also like colour alike a lot (it's a Polish brand, but they used to have much more great polishes, now only few of them are available to buy and that's a shame) and el corazon (russian brand), but my most favourite is masura (also russian one). they have many crazy finishes and interesting color combinations. and they have the best magnetic polishes! yes, detinitely masura is my favourite ;) though Celeste said masura is an indie brand - I actually don't know, but I'm sure it's definitely my favourite ;)

What is your favourite indie brand?

well, I don't think I have one favourite among indies. but due to their fantastic magnetic multichromes I'd say fun lacquer ;) 

What is your favourite nail polish finish?

I love everything that sparkles, so I like all kinds of particles in polishes, but I think I like multichrome polishes, magnetics and glassflecks the most. and well holographic ones, especially with large holo particles. and glitters! you see? I love all that glitters :D

What is your holy grail nail product?

sally hansen instant cuticle remover. I use it like since forever and it always helps me to keep my cuticles in order :)

What is your favourite top coat and base coat?

I curently use orly nail defense as a base coat and I think It's one of my favourites so far. I always use nail conditioners as a base. I also like sally hansen ones (blue - miracle cure and silver - diamond strength).

my favourite top coat of all times is hk girl from glisten & glow (it's an old name, now it's just glisten & glow top coat). I love it! It's thick and gives manicure a gel look :)
